The Inside Scoop On Dating A Younger Woman

By Brent Parsons

If you believe what others might say, you would think that it's nearly impossible to date a younger woman. You would think that she's only into you for your money or that she has daddy issues. You might believe that a younger woman is too unstable to have a relationship with and that you should stick with women your own age. The truth is that dating a younger woman can be exciting, passionate as well as every bit as fulfilling, if not more, than dating a woman your own age. It is not without challenges but dating someone younger than you can provide you with a relationship with someone better suited for you than you might find within your own age range.

While younger women might be a little more emotional or it might seem like they change their mind constantly, there's a reason for this. This reason can actually be a plus if you play your cards right. A younger girl tends to think more with her heart than her mind. They are prone to following their instincts or letting their emotions lead them rather than making calculated decisions. This can spell doom for your relationship if you don't understand this and it can also be a tool that you can use to bring the two of you closer if you understand her in this way.

For instance, let's say that she's feeling bad because some guy, a girlfriend or even her family doesn't approve of your relationship. Someone has said something to her and she's taken it to heart. You feel that something is wrong and she's distant or she is even ignoring you. Try not to react. Don't try to convince her of anything. Show her that you're her strong man. Things like this don't bother you. Support her, make her laugh, make her smile and draw her closer to you. Do not let this stuff get to you and don't freak out. Be yourself, be confident and make her think about happier times. Remind her of a time when the two of you were happy or a romantic place that you went and tell her that you want to go there again.

It is true that you will spending a lot of your time trying to get genie back into the bottle, once you get the hang of things, these difficult moments will actually bring the two of you closer together. Even though younger women are more emotional than the women you are accustomed to dating, you can use this trait to build a strong relationship. You will both appreciate each other more and you will rely upon each other. Together you'll be a team. If you strive to understand her and you don't take things personally at times, you will see that although younger women are prone to changing their mind often, they change it back just as quickly. If you truly care for her and understand her as a person then you will take the bad with the good.

Guys her own age are the same way also. She probably already knows this from experience or she has friends who are constantly having to deal with a boyfriend who cheats or is interested in multiple women at the same time. With you, she has the best of both worlds and she trusts you. Instill that trust and help her to understand that there are going to be people who will try to break you up out of jealousy and you'll be fine. Help her to see that if someone really cared about her that they would be happy for her and support her and that one day those people will wish that they had a relationship as filled with love and happiness as the two of you have together.

Dating a younger woman is no different than dating any other woman. There are some hurdles that you might have to deal with and erratic behavior at times but is there really a woman out there that doesn't become emotional from time to time? If you're into dating younger women just to play games with their mind, your dating career will be short. Younger women are accustomed to game players. On the other hand, if you feel that you have more in common with someone younger than you then by all means, move forward with the relationship. Things might be bumpy at times but if you are suited to be dating someone her age then it will be a match made in heaven.
