You've been wanting to donate some stuff you are no longer using. This goes especially to clothes due to the fact that you trend to buy new ones every so often. This leaves a lot of stuff unused in your closet. Since you were hoping to free some of the space inside, this might be a good time for you to actually get rid of some and have them donated instead.

There are many things that you can do out of all the unwanted clothes you have just lying around. Do know that dirty clothes will be accepted by these organizations, but if you are going to give these items out, then it might be best to take the right steps to ensure that they are going to be usable once they are distributed to the necessary people that will need them. Washing them again gives them a better chance to be recycled and worn again.

Be sure to include sheets, blankets, and towels too. These are very helpful pieces that could be useful especially when used in many animal shelters. It doesn't matter if they may look threadbare too. They are still going to have a second life when used in these facilities. They can help in keeping animals warm and in cleaning too.

Be sure to find out which places are going to accept these clothes too. Different charities will have their own drop off points. It is best to give them call first and ask if they can direct you to the right places. This way. You will know where to head to after you have everything that you plan on donating set and ready and packed in their necessary containers.
