Be ready to engage your spouse in a conversation as frequently as you can. Do not be afraid to express yourself and say how you feel about the other person and the relationship in general. Other reasons include the lack of compatibility, not being emotionally supportive, and the lack of mutual goals.

Therapy is meant to aid an individual to deal with the mixed feeling that results from a fractured association. Persons may feel sad and angry about the whole issue. Stress and low self-esteem can occur when one party is rejected by the other. To prevent depression, a counselor will help the client speak out and understand where things have gone wrong.

At times individuals can get over a separation all on their own. They do this through various ways. Eating right and getting the right amount of sleep is the first step to dealing with stress. Also, consider joining a group of individuals who have gone through similar situations. Do keep yourself busy by exercising a lot and try to spend more time with friends.

There has been an increase in cases of people committing suicide after suffering rejection. It is advisable to approach a qualified mental expert to prevent such unfortunate cases. It occurs where the sadness and grief are too much to bear, or where the level of emotional attachment is too strong.
